The centerpiece of the main lodge is the stone fireplace. Stretching floor to ceiling, it draws you in with its grandeur, beckoning guests into the space. The beauty of the fireplace includes a mantle made from American Chestnut repurposed from old tobacco barn timbers and can be draped in your decor of choice. The glistening hardwood floors are stained in rich amber and warm chocolate hues. Looking up, guests will admire the beautiful wooden beams that stretch across the 24’ cathedral ceiling. From every corner of the lodge, you and your guests can experience the magnificent views Glass Hill has to offer. The beauty of your surroundings pours into the space through expansive picture windows. Guests are in awe of the space, as well as our stunning brides as they enter for their first dance.

The Arbor

Our custom-built stone and rich wood arbor is the perfect place for family and friends to gather and watch as you recite your vows at your elegant outdoor wedding. The expansive view of the Blue Ridge Mountains showcases the beautiful Peaks of Otter. Often used as the ceremony site, it offers breathtaking mountain views. To ensure the privacy of our brides, we added a personal exit from our Bridal Suite to the walkway leading to the arbor, allowing for that special moment when guests see our brides for the first time. 

Just outside of the lodge, the patio features outdoor seating accented with café lighting and gas fire pits. The patio provides an enchanting space for guests to take in the breathtaking mountain views during cocktail hour and throughout the entire event. With an expansive property consisting of 125 acres, our couples have various options for photographs ranging from the Blue Ridge Mountain view to towering trees, open hills, and our exclusive pond.

Bridal Suite

Oh, my stars - we just love our brides. Our stunning bridal suite is a spacious and elegant retreat and the perfect setting for wedding day prep. The lavish and inviting space includes blends of crème colored plush furnishings and mirrors throughout, softening the room and offering an inviting mix of class and charm. Natural light filters in through expansive windows providing perfect lighting for photographs. The large granite vanity is illuminated with stylish wall sconces, offering plenty of space for our brides to gather with their bridesmaids while being pampered on their day.

Our grooms and groomsmen are just as important as our brides, and they have not been forgotten. The Groom's Suite provides a relaxing mountain retreat including magnificent views. The space is adorned with rich chocolate browns and leather furnishings which add to the overall feel of a gentlemen’s lounge. Completing the charm of the room, you’ll find classic games throughout and a large flat-screen television. The groom and groomsmen can relax, chat, and bond inside while getting ready for the big day.
